Dr. Nang Mya Han - Director

Biography :

Professor and Head of Department (retired), Department of Marine Science, Myeik University, Myanmar.  Currently Consultant to Department of Fisheries, Myanmar Fisheries Federation, and Technology Expert for Mangrove for the Future and Integrated Coastal Management of Myanmar.  She is a Blue Carbon Expert and one of UNESCO’s expert for its Myanmar Natural Heritage Group.  Recipient of the Presidential Award for education in 2015.  She has BSc and MSc degrees in Marine Biology from Rangoon University, a Diploma for Education Management from the Economic Institute (Rangoon) and a PhD (2014) from Mawlamyaing University. She is a long-term  professional partner with WCS  in term of marine conservation program.
