U Than Myint - Chairman

Biography :

Chairman, MBF Steering Committee.  Formerly Country Program Director (15 years) and Training and Research Coordinator (8 years), Wildlife Conservation Society Myanmar. Prior to that Assistant to Chief Technical Advisor for watershed management project by UNDP/FAO, Lecturer at Forestry Institute, and Range Officer in the Forest Department.  He received his MSc in Forestry from Australian National University (1990) and BSc in Forestry from Yangon Arts & Science University.
