Habitat Restoration in Community Forest Area

Mangrove forests in coastal areas are critical not only for Marine Life but also for reducing disaster effects on local people. We have been contributing in order to sustain mangrove forests and regrowth of mangrove trees. We have conducted many consultation meetings with local people to establish the Community Forest so that mangrove conservation areas will be increased. A green campaign with community participation has been done at Mangrove Community Forest area in Kyauk Se village, Theyatchaung Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region.
